Founder, Head of Design
ALEKSANDRA KOZAWSKA
Over the past years, Aleksandra (Ola) has successfully turned her passion for space into her
professional career. Prior to founding ODIS, she collaborated with Satellite Applications Catapult User-Cented Team on projects focusing on the use of space technologies in applications here on Earth.
With a background in service design, she defines herself as a professional sensemaker
helping businesses bring clarity in the fuzzy initial stages of product/service definition and development.
With her startup ODIS, she has brought her 10 years worth of design expertise into the
space industry. Before that, Aleksandra has worked with consulting giants such as Sopra Steria and Fjord London and led digital design and transformation projects in the financial sector at BBVA. She received her training in design from University College London, Politecnico di Milano, and Glasgow School of Art.
Aleksandra enjoys fostering knowledge-sharing through her community engagement. She is the brain behind the Designers in Space Community, its co-founder and coordinator.
Aleksandra is also a Product Director at Redradix, a software development boutique studio in Madrid, where she has been leading the product investigation and definition for multiple projects within the space account. She is also an alumna of the International Space University, member of the Space Exploration Project Group and the Polish Space Professionals Association.
Aleksandra speaks fluent Polish, English and Spanish. When she is not working, you can
find her on a ski slope, in her jewellery workshop, practising yoga or travelling.
